Payments to the EB 5 Integrity Fund Have Begun
March 7, 2023
The Department of Homeland Security updated the EB-5 Integrity Fund. According to the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022, these payments will serve to run the EB-5 Regional Center Program. Starting March 2, 2023, yearly fees will be collected from each designated regional center.
Each regional center with more than 20 investors must pay $20,000 each. The fee for centers with less than twenty investors is $10,000. These are yearly payments corresponding to the fiscal year and are due on or before April 1, 2023. Furthermore, on October 1, 2022, a $1,000 filing fee increase for Form I-526E, Immigrant Petition by Regional Center Investor was implemented. Centers will be closed if they do not pay in full within 90 days of the due date.
There are resources available to aid in the investigation and apprehension of immigration fraud.
With the help of the EB-5 Regional Center Program, eligible immigrants and their families can combine their investment capital to capitalize on economic development prospects in the United States. When an investment is authorized, investors are eligible for visas.
